Posts: 5 (05/18/09 07:57:20) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Tags : None We have a 2007 349 RL3S-5 Open Road and have a leaking problem that we believe is coming in around the living room slide on the side where the desk and entertainment center is. The floor is wet under the carpet along the cabinet beside the sink. We looked up under all the sink and the all the other water sources and there are no leaks in any of those. It has rained and rained and rained here and we have noticed that when it rains that is when the floor gets wet. My husband has checked the roof and cannot find any leaks there. Has anyone else had this problem or know where this could be coming from. I also believe the carpet feels damp in other places (could be my imagination) since I am now paranoid about this carpet. Also does anyone know if there is linoleum under the carpet in these units. any advise would be appreciated. Thanks Carol & Steve

Posts: 30 (05/19/09 18:48:23) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	Hi We have a 2006 349 and had a wet spot on the carpet between the slide and the counter. It turned out to a slight leak where the demand water pump line is connected to the main water line. It was clamped with a worm type hose clamp. Also had a damp carpet at the back, door side under the side window (tall skinny one). Appeared to be coming from a poor caulking of the moulding strip where it meets the rear cap. If your husband can't find it, your next best option is to contact Jim Skiles, as mentioned above. Here's how: team61@verizon.net or ( 574)533-5207 or (574) 202-5461. If you can't get ahold of Jim, find a professional to help, before you have a huge repair bill. I doubt that there is any vinyl flooring under your carpet. 2006 316 RLDS-5 2004 F-250 6.0 Diesel, new head gaskets, new EGR cooler, cleaned turbo, ARP studs.

Now to the leaking problem.The leak could be coming from several different places,it could be a slide out that is out of adjustment,a bad seal on your under belly,you could need a reseal as I tell folks about,your t-moulding could be separating and water getting in that way,your roof may have a small leak in your slide,the list is very long this is why I try and stress to folks the importance of regular PM work ups.Any and all that Tim and I have done work for will tell you preventative maintenance is what will keep your units on the road for years to come.If you would like to call me please feel free to, if Tim and I can help you via the phone we would be more then happy to.But to be honest with you if you have that much water coming in you might want us or another certified Pilgrim repairman to look over your unit.Please if you need help call.I have and will always say keep your unit maintained,it don't matter if it is us or some other reputable repair company it's better to pay a little bit now then a whole lot later.(574) 202-5461 or ( 574) 533-5207 Thank You Jim and Tim
