Hi. I'm new to this forum and am trying to get some feedback on the Legend. My wife and I are planning to get full-time for at least a year or two.
We've been RVing for 40 years so but now need a unit that we can live in. I know Pilgrim has gone out of business but I'm willing to live with that if
I could get some positive feedback that the Legend will hold up well to full-timing. We have looked at Forest River Cardinals which are far more expensive but
they just seem to be financially out of reach as we are doing this on a strict budget. We currently have a Keystone Sringdale that is definitely an entry level
unit. So my question is--where would you rate the Legend on a continuum from entry level to top of the line? Would you recommend it for full time? Thanks for

I don't know anything about the Legend. I know that Pilgrim doesn't recommend full timing in my Open Road. Sorry I can't help, but welcome to the
forum.

I'm not by any means an expert on these things, but I read somewhere that you could fulltime in these things as long as you keep them clean and free of
excessive moisture. I've met numerous folks that fulltime in other brands, but not this particular type. They just continue to air them out properly.
I'm sure someone will chime in here and give some better idea. Good Luck!!!

I think that most RV manufacturers do not recommend them for full time because of liability issues. The only one that I know of that does certify their units
for full time is Peterson Industries IE EXCEL. However, you will pay at least double what you would pay for a Pilgrim products when Pilgrim was in business.
If you buy a Pilgrim product, make sure you keep up the maintenance on these units. I have always gone overboard on maintenance on all of my equipment. I have had a trailer over 30 years and an Open Road for 5 years. I have spent more on repairs and maintenance on my OR than all of my other units combined. Good luck, Bob
