Legend 37QB Rear Cabinets

We purchased a 2007 Legend 37QB in March and have been really happy with the quality and design of the unit. Surprisingly we haven't had a large list of "break-in issues" that we expect on a new rig. I finally got the dually truck I wanted. I scored a great deal on a 2007 Duramax out of California. It took a while to get it shipped but I have spent the weekend installing hitch and bed wiring. It even came with a Prodigy already installed. I gues the previous owner had a bumper-pull because thyere is no sign of a fifth wheel hitch.

2008 Rally

We are planning on attending and will leave Florida on the 4th, plan to arrive on the 7th. Can understand that the rising fuel costs are a hardship to many young famlies and understand perfectly how plans had to change.

We were unable to open the original attachment for the rally itinerary, could anyone tell us what is planned.

Heavy duty wheel "Chock and lock"

Hello everyone, we normally end up traveling with an extra friend or family member and due to the traffic my 310RBDS seems to wobble a bit more than I thought it should.
Has anyone used a tandem wheel chock and lock or similar item. Their website (Ultra-Fab) sure does tell you it helps.

Yellowstone/Mt Rushmore Trip

3200 miles round trip and the most severe problem we had was when my son broke the towel holder in the bathroom. I was hoping for one break down expecting two (my plan for the worst hope for the best strategy). I cant say enough about how proud I am of my Pilgrim and truck. My 02 F350 with 7.3 averaged 10mpg round trip, with a low 8.21 and a 14.97 high (I think we logged about 500 miles without the camper).

Leaking Slide During Travel

I recently finished an extended trip with a 2006 Pilgrim, 5th wheel during which I drove through several rainy days. On two occasions after stopping and setting up I found water on the floor at each corner where the slide goes through the sidewall. After pulling up the carpet adjacent to the stationary wall I discovered from the water stains on the plywood that it had occurred before. I suspect it's water spray from the day of traveling.

Has anybody ever thought about starting a thread/section for "mods" they have done to their rv? The owners forum for the make of our previous fifth wheel, is a really good web site. One of the sections they have is for any modifications/upgrades you may have done to your rv. It is very helpful and has a lot of great ideas. I have already done several mods to our 357 and I got most of the ideas from the rv owners on that other site.

Landing Gear when plugged to truck

We have a 2008 GMC 2500HD Diesel. When our battery is not connected, but the fifth wheel is connected to the truck, the landing gear will not work. We had a 2004 GMC 2500 HD Gas and were able to use the landing gear when plugged into the truck without the battery being hooked up. We also have an factory integrated brake controller. Has anyone had this problem?

RV Battery Lifespan

How long should a properly maintaned new RV battery last from others experiences??
Mine is into 3rd year, and keeps going flat this spring. I store it inside house over winter.
I only use RV for vacation and a couple weekends a year, so not heavily used. No dry camping to mention.
Charge panel shows so flat even panel won't display anything.
I've checked for frig door heater s/w being on, any lights left on etc. and all fine.
Same battery went flat running...

towing with F-250 4X4

Does anyone tow with a F-250 4X4? With a torque-flex axle, there's no way to "flip" the axle, so is there enough clearance on the 4X4? I am picking up a 316 RLDS on Tuesday, and I need to make sure I'm OK.
