New owner with concerns

Bad axles

Well...more axle issues on my 332 RKS. I verified that Pilgrim, or Lippert or dealer put two 4400 lb Dexter axles on my 332 RKS that has a GVWR of 14,000 lbs.! Now mind you, we are full timers so our weight is 13,000 lbs. This 5th wheel has a weight of more than 8800 lbs. dry. Where do I go now?? I bought the unit new. SLIDEOUT MOTOR ADJUSTMENT

Our '06 is a 30' 5'er with a bed slideout. Occasionally, the bed slide will not come in, but the motor will bump against the screw gear. I can raise the mattress, unscrew the plywood flooring, and use a crescent wrench to turn the hex-head of the screw drive maybe two or three times, not rounds, but just maybe a total of a 1/3 to 1/2 round, and the motor will engage with the room working fine. Anyone know if there is a way to adjust the clutch-drive to take up this loose play?...

antenna wiring

Leaking Skylights

We have a 2007 349RL Open Road. Our living space is in the rear. On each side of the camper along the edge of the carpet is a leak. Same area on each side.
We removed the trim on each side and replaced the putty. resealed it and also recaulked the roof in some areas that looked suspect. The walls on the inside of the camper are not soft or wet. Dimplex electric fireplace

Has anyone had problems with their Dimplex electric fireplace? Our heater/blower ?? quit working and the repairman said Dimplex is known for problems. Also, when we turn the fireplace off by the remote, it has been known to turn itself back on unless we also turn the on/off toggle switches off. He expressed some major concern over that being a safety issue. Anyone have similar experience? Thanks.

We have been wanting to sell our Open Road, but knowing the closure of the Factory effects the price of our unit, is there any advice on selling and getting the REAL value of the Open Road 5th Wheel. Not wanting to take too big of a loss just because the factory shut down.

We have a 2007 Open Road 378SA4S and love the unit, but faced with the financial times we must part with it, the sad thing is I would buy an Open Road again if times got better, but would have no where to turn...

Clear Clearance Lights

My 2006 Open Road has four clear "clearance" lights on the front cap, that of course aren't used as clearance lights. However, all four of the lenses are cracked.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Asbestos in old trailers

Lubing Slide outs

We have a 08 Legends 37qb that has been a pretty reliable fifth wheel. Recently we started to notice a different sound when we put our main slide out.
